TAF Member the Railway Industry Association has, like many, been supporting its members during the Coronavirus outbreak, ensuring companies have the latest information from Government and clients, and is regularly able to provide feedback to Government Ministers, civil servants and other industry figures. RIA’s Coronavirus response has included:
• Regular webinars with Transport and Business Ministers, ensuring both multinational organisations and SMEs are able to feed in to the conversation;
• Regular email briefings, to ensure members are kept up-to-date on the latest developments;
• Creating a dedicated Coronavirus Information Hub on their website, as a central location for intelligence for members;
• Supporting the industry’s response to the outbreak, by recognising the work of key workers in rail and welcoming moves by clients to ensure prompt payments, for example.
