The Trade Association Forum is the only organisation of its kind and we have Government support as the first choice organisation to deal with trade associations. Our supporting department is the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). We are the ‘association of associations’ and we are here to provide you and your team with similar support to that which you provide to your members. 

Membership is open to any kind of membership body in the UK, all of which have many similar challenges in common in terms of their operational activities. 

Our range of services and activities are designed to assist you in the strategic development and day-to-day running of your organisation and we work hard to promote the excellent contribution that associations make to Government, industry and the wider public.

Subscriptions 
Subscriptions are size related based on the number of (full time equivalent) staff working for the organisation as shown in the table below. 

The subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Annual subscription rates from 1 April 2019 are as follows:

0-9 Staff  £420 
10-19 Staff  £805 
20-49 Staff  £1,385 
50 Staff and Over  £1,990 

 All subscriptions are subject to VAT 

Multiple/Block Subscriptions 
For umbrella bodies and organisations representing trade associations and other types of membership body, a block subscription will apply. These are calculated according to individual circumstances, but will be linked to the number of organisations represented who will also be included into membership of TAF. 

Website Directory Information 
Member trade associations will be listed in the Online Directory which appears on the Trade Association Forum website at http://www.taforum.org/. Entry into the Directory is free of charge for TAF members. 

Individual Contacts 
Communication with members is primarily by e-mail rather than by post. There is no limit on the number of contacts within your organisation that can be nominated to receive communications from the Forum (e.g. newsletters and updates). 

One contact will be designated as the Main contact to receive any items where there is only one copy per member (e.g. subscription forms or voting papers). This detailed contact information is treated as confidential and will be used only by the Forum for addressing communications to named contacts. 

Where electronic contact data is not available, it is assumed that all contacts can be reached via the organisation’s postal address.
