The Secretary of State for Business has launched a Business Readiness Fund to help prepare for the eventuality of the UK leaving the EU without a withdrawal agreement.

The objective of the scheme is to fund business organisations and trade associations to engage and provide advice to UK-based businesses to understand the impact on their business and trading arrangements arising from a No Deal Brexit and to provide practical support to business to mitigate any immediate impact.   Applications need to be made by 30th September to allow BEIS to provide funds under this scheme so that all activity can can be completed by 31st October.  Suffice to say time is therefore of the essence!

TAF would encourage all trade associations to consider submitting a high quality and timely bid that meet the requirements of the Fund.

Further information and the on-line application form can be found here.
