The British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) was established in 1971, having previously existed as the British Acetylene Manufacturers Association, which was originally formed in 1901. BCGA is a not-for-profit trade association, representing the interests of 70+ member companies, which we do through dialogue with relevant Government Departments and Agencies, Standards Organisations and other Trade Associations.
