About this event
Join us for the first Women in Trade Associations Special Interest Group event, bringing women from across the sector together to connect, share experiences and start the conversation about what they want from the new WiTA Special Interest Group.
We'll start with a short session from Ellen Daniels - From Princess to General: Women, Power and Leadership in Science Fiction - exploring what some of science fiction’s best-known female characters can teach us about leadership, power and the expectations placed on women.
We’ll then spend some time discussing women’s representation across the sector, the issues that deserve more attention and the kind of support you would like to see from the group. Alongside sharing more detail about the WiTA Powerlist, the timeline and how you can nominate and get involved.
This first session is about you. Meet other women in the trade association sector, share your perspective of the industry, and have your say in what WiTA becomes.
This event is for TAF members only.
