The Railway Industry Association (RIA) is looking for a Membership Engagement lead. The successful candidate for this role will be outgoing, confident and have experience in member relations and engagement, either at a trade body or similar organisation. They will also have experience in developing strategic partnerships and securing event sponsorships from members.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with members and help develop RIA’s services, including events and communications around public affairs and PR, policy, technical and innovation, and exports topics – to help the sector become bigger and better. He or she will work with the RIA team to track, develop and respond to new opportunities for growing the membership; and will play a lead role in increasing non-subscription revenue from sponsorship.

The Membership Engagement lead will be required to attend evening events, sometimes including overnight stays, in order to network with existing and prospective members, sometimes several times per month.
