Introduced for the first time in 2003, the purpose of the Awards is:
- To foster the search for excellence
- To recognise and reward achievement
- To encourage the communication and adoption of best practice
We
hope that you will find in the Awards a source of ideas and inspiration,
encouragement and enthusiasm, and a stimulus to adopt and share best practice
… and perhaps to enter for associate in 2004 too.

The Entries
The Awards stimulated huge interest, with more than 80 trade associations
taking part, submitting nearly 100 entries in the five main categories,
as follows:
- The Commercial Initiative Award - 16
- The Business of Representation Award - 18
- The Membership Success Award - 10
- Magazine or Newsletter of the Year Award - 28
- Website of the Year Award - 26
Special Awards
There were also two special Awards:
- The Trade Association of the Year
- The Individual Award
