The Trade Association Forum is responsible for the development of best practice among UK trade associations, promotion of trade associations to government, industry and with the public. We are looking to appoint a full time Membership and Communications Manager who will take the lead in attracting new subscription income.
This is a highly focussed and stimulating role, which comes at an exciting time in the Forum’s development, and it requires a dynamic self-starter able to provide an effective link between TAF and its member organisations as well as taking the lead in attracting new members and ensuring that existing members remain engaged with the Forum's activities.
In addition to recruitment and retention activities, the Membership Manager's responsibilities will include gathering market information and industry intelligence, supporting relevant TAF committees and events, the maintenance of the membership database and a range of promotional activities to raise the Forum's profile, including some social media activity.
A relevant degree and/or experience of working with Trade Associations and Membership Bodies is a minimum requirement for the appointment. The appointment also requires strong networking skills and a proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The position is based at our offices in Cuffley, Hertfordshire but will require some travel. A full job description can be found here.
