Membership Account Manager - British Promotional Merchandise Association, Cambridge

 

REPORTING TO:                     Director General

 

PURPOSE OF JOB:                  Engaging with members and prospects to enhance value and selling additional services

 

BPMA is the UK’s leading trade body dedicated to promoting best practice around the sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of promotional products.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen at BPMA.  We are looking for the right candidate to further complement our existing team.  We work in a fast paced environment where no day will ever be the same.

 

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager for Membership.  The role will include, but not be limited to:

 

1.    Making regular contact with members to sell BPMA products and services to existing members

2.    Processing new member applications

3.    Processing membership cancellations

4.    Ensuring member profiles are websites and within our contacts in CRM and ensuring they are kept up to date

5.    Driving the annual renewal process

6.    Selling sponsorship opportunities

7.    Securing additional patrons

8.    Managing and convert membership leads from the website

9.    Helping members source products and services if and when required

10.  Planning and implementing 2 membership recruitment

11.  Representing BPMA at various industry events and exhibitions

 

 

HOURS REQUIRED

09:00 – 17:00 (Monday-Friday) office based.  Exhibitions and events will require additional time outside normal working hours.

 

Skills/Abilities required:

Proficient in using a computer (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

Good attention to detail
