BAMA is a Trade Association which represents the British aerosol industry but also has many members from outside of the UK. To continue to grow the services and capabilities of the association BAMA is looking to recruit a Membership and Technical Services manager.
The role will be varied as BAMA is only a small team but the most important aspect will be interaction with member companies. This will be through a variety of different routes: visits to members to present and discuss BAMA services such as training courses (both in house and open training events), helping to organise and attending BAMA events such as the Annual Forum, Innovation Day and Aerosol Discussion Evenings and attendance at external trade events such the ADF and FEA International Conference and Exhibition.
In addition to interaction with members the role will also involve various other BAMA led initiatives. These will include compiling the Annual Filling Statistics, managing internal BAMA projects, presenting at training courses and acting as Secretary to some of BAMA’s Committees.
The applicant will, ideally, be educated to degree level in either a science or engineering discipline. They will comfortable interacting with people at all levels in the aerosol industry both in a group setting and on a one to one level. The ideal applicant will have direct or indirect knowledge of an FMCG manufacturing or R&D environment, preferably within the aerosol industry.
