Virtual and Remote Leadership for Trade Associations

05/07/18 04:00

TAF have partnered with Erskine Nash Associates Ltd to offer members access to four high quality, practical and engaging leadership development workshops.

This workshop is suitable for trade association professionals who manage geographically spread offices or staff with little opportunity for face-to-face contact such as home-based working. It looks at the challenges of managing teams and individuals spread over different locations. It will also look at the issues of ‘dotted line’ relationships where you have to manage the performance of people who may not ‘report to you’ in the classic sense.

It will cover:

• The difference between ‘virtual’ and ‘remote’ working.
• The challenges of working in this way.
• 3 different leadership styles for managing remotely and virtually.
• Tools for building engagement and performance without supervision
• How to apply the learning from the workshop back at work.

It will be delivered by Erskine Nash Associates Ltd who, since 2007 have worked globally with organisations including Vodafone, Paramount Films and Hello Magazine. They have also worked with trade several associations and have a good understanding of the realities of our world.
