Statutory Register of Lobbyists - Consultation Event
15/02/12 04:00
The Cabinet Office have published a report 'Introducing a Statutory Register of Lobbyists' Consultation Paper.
The Government believes that a Statutory Register is an important step towards making politics more transparent and make it more accessible. The Consultation asks questions on what a register should look like, what should be the definition of lobbyist, what sort of information should be held on the register and what penalties should be in place for non-registration.
The Forum has organised an event for all members to come and discuss the content of the consultation document so that TAF can put together and strong, cohesive response. We will also be welcoming Mark Harper MP, Minister for Political and Constitutional Reform at our Annual Conference on Thursday, 23rd February to discuss the Register with attendees.
Members only event: FREE
Time: 2pm-5pm
